Christmas 2021

How quickly a year goes, crikey it’s nearly 2022, our shed has been fairly
active even with the covid setbacks during the past twelve months. Fund
raising has been a challenge this past year with a lot of venues unable to
conduct their weekly BBQ’s, but through some innovated idea’s we have
managed to come out fairly well. Membership is more difficult to manage as
many of our senior citizens are unwilling to come out and join in, if you
follow the rules you are relativity safe, it take a little practice but with
perseverance you will succeed, the result is to enjoy what you are doing.
Companionship is a great reward in your senior years, some one to talk with,
someone to share ideas with, it’s great. Come along to the shed next year
and take a look, have a cuppa and a chat, we return on the 18th of January
love to see you.

From the shed we wish everyone, our Supporters and Community who have helped
over the years, our members and friends a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year. See you in 2022

New Committee for 2021 – 2022

On the 24th of August 2021 our AGM was held, our outgoing President expressed his
thanks to the volunteers and help that we had through the past twelve
months, even though the year had been difficult with the lock downs stopping
us from opening for our members enjoyment, the lock downs also interfered
with our ability to raise funds, at least we made a small profit that
covered shed expenses.

Incoming President Gary McBride was elected for the forthcoming year he
spoke on expectations of hopefully a better year ahead. He thanked the
members for their understanding of the difficulties ahead of us for maybe a few
years and hopefully the experts may get Covid under control.
